Art Vlog: Seaside Retreat

What a perfect week this was, fully immersed in feelings of the sea.
I made some sketches and three small paintings of the merfolk, as I imagined them -- sprawled on these beautiful dark rocks (and I filmed as often as I remembered:)
This was my first time taking my new pochade box out to paint (you can see me make it in the last video), and I couldn't be happier with it.
It was so sturdy and functional, easy and fast to assemble, and such a joy painting with my toes in the sand❤

Thanks! Yes even with the wind, everything was solid except the drawing board (which isn’t clipped in) I made it stronger by adding elastic bands to hold it there!😅
