I think others have touched on it but I agree your sketch series is probably the most natural I've seen. You hit all the triggers (whispering, eye contact, concentration, attention) but aren't obvious about it. I think that's key, at least for me, that when I can tell someone is TRYING to trigger it may still work but it makes me think about it. You come off as very natural and authentic. And, sorry to say, I always laugh when the pencils break because your expression is priceless. Thank you for these!

I love just watching you draw you're the cutest thing! and the sun was shining in sunny old England,they like when you draw. :) Your voice makes my body go limp and melt you got some super powers there Charlotte. You lost your voice a bit? no wonder you didn't talk much,well you take care of that precious voice,I lost my voice also can't sing anymore for now,an ENT specialist broke my eardrum 5 weeks ago when I went for routine ear wax removal,can you believe it? it was the most horrible painful experience huge infection couldn't hear for 3 weeks,now it's affected my throat. can't trust docs anymore well Earth docs,maybe try a Neptune doc next time. ;) Your portraits are cool get them to a museum soon they're works of art. xoxoxoxo

Thank you for the video! You have a very relaxing voice. Here's a tip re:your red pencil--ever tried using a knife and sandpaper pad to sharpen your pencils? The cores won't break on you and you can shape the tip to create different strokes. Might make neat sounds to boot. Hope that helps you in future.

Fell asleep listening to this last night as I really enjoyed the busy sounds. Something relaxing about falling asleep whilst someone works away in the background (very surprised I haven't lost my job yet :op). Curious to see the picture though, I had to return today and glad I did as the intensity and concentration when drawing is almost better than the sounds.

Love - thank you! And a tip on the pencils? Zap them in the microwave for a few seconds and the "leads" (which are wax) will mold together again.

From an ex cartographer, I’d use a very sharp thin bladed knife like a Stanley knife or a modelling knife to sharpen my pencils because it gives you a better variety of textures and you’ll know pdq if the lead in the pencil is intact or has been damaged by impact. I think your red pencil at the start would’ve been salvageable with such a knife. This is the first of your ASMRs I’ve watched and the Whispering is very soporific. The rain adds some wonderfully soothing background noise. Serendipity in action.

Try using softer a softer pencil (HB, B, 2B) when you want it to be darker.

If a pencil breaks like that you can just snap it off at that point and sharpen at the break. No need to waste the entire thing.

ASMR Angel Well, true - but mostly I think it's a cultural thing. Humor is a skill. It seems like it's not socially acceptable for women to be goofy, to take chances with the abstract, take the time to construct a good joke, or to see the absurdity in a situation because they're (I'm guessing here) rushed or otherwise have a strong sense of social responsibility. They don't really 'let go' of themselves here. I don't mean they can't have fun - they certainly have lots of that, but there's a difference between acting 'crazy' and making people smile and being truly funny. Many women here think sarcasm is the height of humor, and that just makes me sad. Maybe it's the fault of men - maybe men just don't look for goofy women so women don't act goofy. If goofiness was a survival trait then it seems like more women would be catching up on their Monty Python. Maybe men are just dumb, which is why a lot of them are so disproportionally funny compared to women? I don't know, but the whole thing bothers me to no end. And thanks for the reply! Your channel is my new favorite - you have fun with ASMR without mocking it (another thing I see American ASMRtists do). Thank you :)
