This is a yarn I am calling 'Lock the Hive!' because it is lovely puffy art yarn beehives, each one wrapped in a luscious long Teeswater lock. This is a popular kind of yarn with yarn artists, the combination of curvy puffs and curly locks is irresistible! In the video I demo how to spin the thick and thin yarn, making sure you get nice big neat puffs ready to ply into beehive yarn, and then how to ply them to maximise the texture. This is a fun and easy yarn to create, you only need some easy to draft fiber in roving for top form, a handful or two of long locks, and a nice sturdy plying thread. I hope you will enjoy the video!
