Pendant des années, Stephan Bodzin a surtout œuvré comme producteur dans le domaine de l’electro. Avec Oliver Huntemann, l’artiste natif de Brême porte un projet de pop dance intitulé Kaycee - sans parler de ses remixes de Frankie Goes To Hollywood et Sinead O'Connor. En 2007, Bodzin sort son premier album Liebe ist … (L’amour est…).
Filmé le 1er décembre 2023 au Fairground Festival à Hanovre, Allemagne.

Arte is going bonkers with this - Stephan Bodzin Is probably the greatest german musician that has ever lived when it comes to electronic music, I'm almost 36 years old right now - this guy is an artist, almost 10 years ago he's played at a small club in austria, we've requested a simple song from him (rekorder 3.1 / OG stuff with oliver huntemann) and bodzin made a seamless transition just within his LIVE set without further interuption - it was so dope and you could tell that he's a true musician - a fuck'n mastermind as I would to say!

I love Bodzin but as someone who has played his own material 1000 times he has a tendency to overmix his songs. I guess most DJs do this actually. Sometimes you can barely make out the original.

Bis zum Sommer 2023 kannte ich Arte Concert nicht, ihr macht einen klasse Job und bringt einen Festivals oder Live Acts nach Hause auf den Bildschirm.👌 Stephan Bodzin kenne ich noch live von den Partys ende der 2000er in Rostock, der hat damals schon seinen Job verdammt gut gemacht und wie man heute hört ist er seinem extravaganten Stil treu geblieben. I used to enjoy his stuff but I see he has become unbareable. Though he is a master of his art, and prob the top producer and live performer in terms of skills, his music has become way too pretentious. Always getting off of where it tends to lead, like a forced deconstructivism of the build ups. Worst part is the overproduced risers and the cheesy melodic lines that are being presented as something amazing. Pitty, because the Powers of Ten was an amazing album. I think he got lost into his desire to overproduce stuff.
