The name Paul Kalkbrenner is inextricably linked with electronic dance music. The now iconic artist emerged in Berlin at the height of the golden age of techno. His first album, Superimpose, was released in 2001. His music is full of hypnotic melodies, powerful beats and incredible energy.

this is absolutely amazing. His live sets carry such a dynamic energy to them. It feels like an art performance more than just a "dj set," like you can actually tell that this man is an artist in his heart and soul. that level of artistic and creative expression and his passion for what he's doing is felt in the emotive atmosphere of his sets. you can tell that people are lost in the music, like he's taking them on a journey. i can't wait until i can (hopefully) see him someday, if he ever comes over to the states!

Meine engsten Freund und ich sind 96' Baujahr. Pauls Songs haben uns durch die wilden Zeiten 14'-18' so geprägt. Welchen Mist man damals gebaut hat, aber Paule war immer dabei. Sky und Sand bleibt der legendäre hit. Im Suff, Stoned, auf Teilen oder sonstigen Substanzen war er da. Am 08.08 gehts dann zum ersten mal live zu ihm nach Dortmund.
