I'm a 7k NA shitter; and over the last year and a half I've climbed from Archon 5 to Immortal 7k. I'm an offlane main. I would say 7/10 of my games I have a completely useless Pos 4 when it comes to the lane (either his hero choice was garbage, the way he played the lane was bad, or he is just really bad/griefing). I've always played other positions and since hitting immortal I'm comfortable on any position (although I still prefer offlane). That being said, in thousands of games, it is undeniable that offlane gets griefed by far the worst. It really does take a special player to main that role because you deal with an absurd amount of bullshit and are often left 2v1 in an unfavorable matchup because your pos 4 is stupid/raging. Playing Pos 4 in the lane really is incredibly simple. All you have to do is block the small camp non-stop, OR place an obs behind T1 in the lane to scout for when the enemy pos 5 pulls and when that happens you and the pos 3 go on the carry. That's all you have to do. It's insane how so many people who play pos 4 don't understand that.

6:50 I started playing offlane in 3k mmr and i felt the same way with many pos4 usually griefs the offlaners when they forgot to shut down the enemy safelane first. I am support main but I never realize how griefing offlaners when you need to help other lanes. And this is why mostly offlaners in low mmr are terrible bcoz pos4 dont know how to sync with the offlane or the offlane doesnt want to adjust. I could either dominating the lane, and the supports decides to help the mid who is loosing on 1v1 and and ruins the offlaner.

Im a visage player and the rule of playing with visage is to never leave him in lane before his lvl6 unless the tower is down or the enemy is helping other lanes.

The issue is many pos 4 don’t know how to support at all. They think buying wards makes you a support . They don’t even try to pull the creep wave to your small camp or block enemy hard camp. So many times in Low mmr I have to buy a sentry to deward my own camp because enemy blocked it and my pos 4 refuses to unblock it
