Watched Spurs v Man City - Spurs had fight, determination, grit, COMPLETELY OPPOSITE to Arsenal. Arsenal F.C is basically rotten to the core, owners, directors, trainers, coaches, the manager. There are only about 5 players worth their place in the team, the rest can go. The recruitment is well what recruitment, what style of football are we trying to play. We are going we finish this season - bottom half.

Never agreed with Arteta being our manager for Arsenal. He has no experience and is not a even a club legend when he played for us! If he ever did love arsenal then he needs to do the right thing and resign! He is way out of his depth. We have been on the decline for years. That is the process. After Xmas we collected more points than all other teams in the league except for the Manchester clubs.

When you are instructing your wingers and fullbacks to sling in crosses to a false 9 under 6ft then you are done. He was done mid-Last season tbf. Arteta needs to go and so does the rest of the guys too. Vinai for doing nothing of any real use, Edu for all the good of the few clever signings he has made the rest of the time he has rested on his laurels and its unforgivable when in the most important Transfer window for the club for a quarter of a century he decides to take his holiday then. He had the entire rest of the year to take a holiday or he could have waited until the transfer window was closed. That shows me the level of commitment from the guys who run this club. Richard Garlic can go too, no idea what he has done of any worth.

When I was a kid I was absolutely convinced - convinced I tell you - that I could run 100 meters faster than anybody and win Gold. Went to a new school and that dream was soon crushed. Arteta is the same. He thinks he can be a manager but that doesn't make it so. He has had an easy ride and has yet to learn the weight of being an Arsenal manager. Dan saying that buying Odegaard is just getting the "8th best" premier league midfield back is something i dont agree with, he came on loan in january and from january until the end of the season Arsenal had the 3rd best record in the league. Arsenal ended 8th because the first half of the season was shambolic. Odegaard and Smith-Rowe had something special about them together on the pitch, give them a whole season together.

@Lee Judges TV, a Spurs fan here. Good friends of mine are Arsenal fans but I come here fully in peace. If your club's players played with the same commitment and PASSION that you and the other comments I've seen on AFTV then you would be unbeaten all season and every competition. I have subbed here and AFTV because of the passion, sense and critical thought all I have watched have put across. At one time until quite recently I was proud that your club, and mine, were run properly, i.e. no foreign m/billions to buy their way to glory, but you do seem to have lost your way now. A proper Arsenal needs to find that identity again and I for one don't revel in the troubles you seem to have right now.

spot on Lee been saying it myself eversince, Wenger protected the owners and their lack of spending season after season in exchange for an annual payrise. Year by year Arsenal would drop league positions and but Wenger's salary kept getting bigger and bigger. That's an unacceptable way to run ANY business. Wenger put his own good over the club's well being, he was only thinking about himself and the club's best interest like appointing Guardiola as manager before he joined Bayern came seconf. Recruitment is a big issue, United and liverpool also struggled with it for many years selling good players and keeping/buying not as good ones. Liverpool sold Suarez and bought in rickie lambert who was an ok player but wasn’t a suarez. United have many of these instances, I’m going to pick a debateable one: selling fellaini and buying Fred for around 50mil. I actually quite like Fellaini, he’s got a good first touch, he does the simple things well he’s tall, strong, dominant in the air and did a job for Utd. I’ve never been convinced with Fred but I digress. A big worry for me is keeping Xhaka (giving him a new deal) but selling a future star Joe Willock with no buy back or sell on clause. Xhaka is ok but isn’t suited to the prem, Willock is prem proven he’s done it at Newcastle last season and helped them move higher in the table. I’m baffled by arsenals recruitment and transfers over the last few years

I’ve been an Arsenal fan for 8 years and I watched the Situations like the Alexis Sanchez one develop and I thought what was going wrong at this club. Here is the Arsenal issue from a Neutral perspective. I followed Liverpool since the early 80s and one thing you can count on, then and up until recently, was a tough Arsenal team to play. Maybe it was an ugly 1-0 or 1-1, maybe brutal to watch etc, but as a Liverpool fan, id go damn thats great we came out with points. And the Arsenal fans, while they might not like the style of play etc fully supported the team. I can relate to the current Arsenal problems. Remember, Liverpool had nightmare ownership under Gilette etc until Fenway Sports bought them out. Fenway gets it- had some stumbles- but they get it. Why? They own the Red Sox. They Red Sox - Yankees rivalry is equal to Liverpool - Man Utd. They understand fan expectations. One thing fans at Liverpool cant say is- ownership havent tried to win. Its not about money either- sure in Klopp I trust, but i is Michael Edwards. Look at the players brought in. Salah for $35m and the steal of a lifetime with Robertson for $8m. Liverpool looks for cheaper players knowing that Klopp will get the max out of that player. For Arsenal- i just dont think they know which direction they want to head. Ownership spent money, but it seemed they were chasing a big name player without looking at the biggest needs or style of play. Arteta looks scared man... real scared... he wants to play from the back- wants to have a better defense, wants to have the team attack- but i dont think he trusts his own players. In his head im sure he his thinking "attack attack... wait come back to defend.. wait no.. etc". I think the players sense this and have no idea what to do on the pitch... so everyone is starting to second guess themselves... should I attack.. im going... wait.. i should defend... so sideways passes and zero creative spark and overall- very little energy. I wouldnt have an answer for an Arsenal fan. I can just tell you that I enjoyed watching some of your players. I always liked Ian Wright. He was the guy I loved to hate. He wore that shirt and badge and be damned if someone was going to beat him. He played until the final whistle, and sometimes when you least expect, he gets a goal from nothing. We never needed to hire a manager who hasn't managed ever in his life in the 1st place. Emery was a good manager but the squads top 4 had he made a blunder on pepe and didn't deliver and faced the axe. We should have got an even better manager than Emery cuz we are at that point if we dont buy best manager and best players we will become irrelevant as a club let alone win any titles. These few years are gonna define us as a club for next few decades and it wasn't the time to experiment with a rookie manager. Maybe arteta will become a good manager in future but its not the time for him now.

I said it on Lee gunners channel: I’m sure Ben white has the potential to be great, but he’s only played in a back three (so I’ve heard) they (Arsenal) paid 50 mil which isn’t a bad deal, English players are taxed more nowadays. But surely it’d be more savvy business to have signed Vestergaard for 15 million? He’s 29 so he’s experienced, also proved in the premier league, also speaks english, good with his feet, tall and dominant in the air. I think he wouldn’t get the fans excited but would do a job on a three year contract and Arsenal rn need instant results and ready made players!

It’s a results business unfortunately but Arsenal do not play good football either it’s boring to watch and the results have been poor the last two seasons, so I don’t want to hear “it’s just the first game” excuse for this manager bc he’s been here 2 seasons and finished 8th in both of them. He has not progressed the team OR the club as a whole. Arsenal fans are supporting the team in the 90 minutes on the pitch but they’re criticising the direction that they are going in which is understandable. You can’t TRUST a process without seeing any progress.

The Ben White signing is scary, he's got to be the only English centre back going who doesn't want to head the ball. Look the art of defending is dead, they're all failed midfielders now. Therefore if you're big, strong athlete you're 50% of the way towards being a top modern centre back, another 25% if you can trap a ball. Unless you're absolutely sure the small guy somehow a master of the lost art of defending (eg. Cannavaro) then DON'T SIGN HIM FOR MEGA MONEY.

eg Kyle Walker, rightly regarded as one of the best defenders in the world simply because he has the athleticism to dominate and recover on most attackers. He is a failed attacker without any genius defensive instincts. We had something approaching that in Saliba, a decent coach could mold him into what passes as a top modern defender today, but of course this fraud Arteta whose coaching excellence is a media creation can't do anything with him.

Not making excuses for Arteta who’s adapting of the team has been woeful. 3-4 yrs it’s possible to change the team but where will we fall in the meantime. I'm tired of excuses for this guy. We have a better team than 12 or 13 teams in the PL easily and he has a better team than Uni Emery had. It's not about signing "HIS PLAYERS"; your job as a new manager at a club is to improve the performances with the Players who're there. I've said this a million times, give Pep Guardiola this Arsenal Team and you'll see the amount of goals that we'll get out of Auba, Pepe and our best attacking Players. Would we finish in top 4, maybe not. But you'd see us scoring goals and be a top 6 side at least.

Last year, prior to Boxing Day, we had Auba and / or Laca in the line up. We lost 8 matches and failed to score in 6. Regardless of who's been on the pitch we've lacked organization, energy and leadership. Fully agree...Arteta's got to get 100% our of the players he has. Shown he is incapable of doing that.

I really am trying my hardest not to be truly negative but I believe this will be another season of Arteta failure with no intervention from the Kroenke's. I believe we will lose our next 2 games and then possibly go on a small winning and Arteta will escape the sacking again. It's very simple, I don't believe the Kroenke's have the guts to sack Arteta until we fall completely apart and that may require us flirting with the relegation zone.
