People seem to forget the fact that Arteta took on one of the biggest clubs in the world (based out of fanbase and size, not Throphies) in complete disarray and turned EVERYTHING around. It took him 3 YEARS to make Arsenal competitive not only in the Premier League but also in Europe. Compared to Unai Emery who started his managerial carreer at insignificant Almeira. Arteta WILL win a lot with Arsenal!

Arguably Arteta's first full season was worse than Emery's full season. Arteta was lucky to stay after 7 defeats out of 12 games at the start of 20/21, when fans weren't allowed in. Emery never had the contacts Arteta had at the start of their careers, and had to start at a lower level. He did the hard yards and won 4 Europa Leagues - 1 with a poor Villarreal side AGAINST Arteta

Hence I think it’s unfair to judge the performances on the pitch. If you get a lot to build a new house on you have to tear the old down first. Such a bad a comparison for multitude of reasons. 1) Arteta's first job as a manager is with Arsenal and thus, only has 5 years of managerial experience. We are comparing him to a guy that has over 20 plus years of experience. 2) Every Arsenal fan knows that during Emery's second season, his style of play was getting too predictable and teams were having too many shots against us and was playing bad football and hence he was sacked rightly. 3) Arteta comes in and completely revamps the culture and mood at Arsenal from the day he walked into Arsenal, and was trying to rectify the mistakes from the previous regime (which Emery had a part to play), and now he's building a team under his image, which he should be given credit for. Comparatively, Emery found a good club where the pressure of winning quickly won't be very high and has learned from his mistakes and is having success at AV, which he should be credited for. Lastly, the same people were criticizing and bantering Emery while he was at Arsenal are the same folks that are giving him credit because they don't like Arsenal lol🤣 If you ask rival fans if they would've Emery at their club, they would instantly say no. All of this dumb arguments stem from tribalism

Julian hit the nail on the head, with of the two managers, Arteta is the best manager for Arsenal. Never forget what he inherited, with disprubtors like Abameyang & Ozil to where we are now, he has us on the runway to take off and win trophies. As with Klopp's LIV, if it wasn't for the GOAT manager, they'd have more titles, we've finished twice to Pep, closing the gap each time, just wish for Arteta to at least grab a cup to not only start a winning habit, but to keep this team together.
