I wasn't happy Odegard was playing ahead of Esr when he first joined the club but overtime Odegard changed his game and has been consistent since then which made me love him now but we missed a trick here in letting ESR go because I see Madrid or city keeping both and that's the difference between we and them, quality squad depth, we only focus on quality starting eleven and it has to change for instance, if we sign Ruiz or Moreno, Partey and Jorginho doesn't need to leave the club

I think Mikel was being a bit flippant in response to Curtis' question. What Curtis was probably wanting to hear was actual tangibles i.e. what is the monetary budget it will take to close the gap between Arsenal & Man City, because that is where it starts.
