I find myself worrying about this guy a lot, too many people dying in their 20s being exposed to things and being mentally ill on top of everything else certainly doesn't help but shit like this makes me feel like maybe I can let go of a bit of that fear for him. He looks well and that makes me feel good. He sounds like a person who has learned about who he is from what he's gone through and I think that's a powerful and encouraging thing to see even though I know he didn't do it for anyone else. I hope that continues to be the case and he lives a good long life doing things he loves and helping people out.

I been thinking that too, but I think it’s because of where he’s from The culture of being a rapper in the states vs his home.. it’s like instilled in him to get his shit together & be well like everyone else around him Vs rappers here, they stay in fairy land because we don’t take mental health serious, then it leads to things like Mac #RIP

Lean is so underrated for what he did for indie cloud rap. The rap style, the beats, all influenced a new decade of music. It'll take another decade for kids to dig this up and realize his true legendary status. I think at the end what he was trying to say was it's not only that he wants others to shine & come together, but he said it himself. Hes happy. Hes learned over the years. Taken some Ls. But look where he is now. He reached the dream he always wanted and that was for his voice with music to be heard. And, now it's time for others to do exactly what he did and make something of themselves and to contribute to the world. My perspective on that statement genuinely impacted me and moved me. This man is absolutely incredible and I dont know what the world would be like without his journey etched into history.
