I love all the paintings that you did with these gauche paints. I know you like them more that watercolours as when I first found you that’s all you painted in. These doo look nice and creamy and cover really well, I am not sure whether I am ready to use them. However I did a repair on a matt or ament and painted over it with some I had.They worked brilliantly and no one ever noticed lol.. I just don’t wash it only dust with a paintbrush lol!. I love watching you paint,you always make it look so effortless. It’s not that way for me lol,but part of my problem is my health and not being able to sit upright in this hot weather.I think you book looks fabulous ,thank you for doing this ,I know it was a long one for you too. Thank you Christine ❤️ hehe I do rather enjoy gouache and they were rather lovely to paint with too. I only started really using them since starting this channel and loved using them since. That's a great idea to use for a repair on a matte surface 💡! I'm sorry to see that the hot weather has exasperated you not feeling up to being creative. I hope you can feel comfortable soon 🥰 I thought I'd make more of an in depth video and really take a good look at these paints. I'm also quite enjoying making and filling little sketchbooks dedicated to one medium or brand at the moment. I think that's me trying to be organized lol

That gorgeous octopus! I also love the cropping you did on it. Makes a more dynamic image. I also love the paint line work on the peacock. I've used that method to cover up streaks or blotchy paint. I'd like to get this subscription but a bit too pricey for my budget.

I loved using those colours too 😍 It is a bit of a pricey box, luckily there's usually a preview and that helps me to decide if I'll go for that box or not. I haven't had every box, the calligraphy, coloured pencils and pastels boxes didn't do it for me lol

Thank you Linda ❤️ oh my! To be honest painting in summer in general can be a nightmare lol. I'm working on a Derwent intense video and having to paint at night as it's just evaporating 😅 For gouache it's a lot harder as I battle to keep the sweet spot consistency and paint quickly enough before it dries up!

Thank you Julie Spriddle ❤️ it was a really lovely box. I do wish there had been some bigger brushes provided as the surfaces provided are large and of course, the paint is quite thick. Aside from that though, the paints were beautiful and vibrant and overall the box I thought was a good one 🥰

Love the paintings Katy, although I did wonder at the start of the frogs why you were painting rotten bananas! I haven't had any of these boxes but do feel this one was a bit expensive.

Thank you Linda ❤️ hehe rotten bananas 🤣 I watched it back and I can't unsee it now 🤣🤣🤣 that's so funny! The box is a little on the pricey side. I am happy that there's a n email that let's you see what's inside before committing. There have been a few boxes where I've passed, because it's not my medium or I haven't seen the value there. I'll still try the odd one where they look interesting though.

Thank you EmilyArts ❤️ luckily it's a quarterly box so it won't be that much every month. There's usually an email beforehand revealing the contents with the option to skip which I have done on some of them too - the coloured pencils, lino and pastels box were a skip for me. For the boxes I have had, I thought they were good value and have used especially the ink and watercolor box quite a bit too. I'd say for me they are worth it if you're interested in the supplies and I'd approach them as being a kit for that medium rather than what we receive from the mystery supply boxes. I did really enjoy this box and I thought that the paint was just lovely to work with 😍
