Good luck making yours! This took me three hours to record so make sure to take your time. I did get my first job thanks to this video, so definitely recommend doing on yourself!

Better get started! Make it your own, there's no need to copy. Base it on your CV and cover letter, keep it short and snappy!

This is so inspiring i am trying to make the same for me as I am desperate for find a job and have been unemployed for a few months now with at least a decade worth of experience and living in Germany! Can you please advise what kind of video recording mode i should use? i have the Samsung S24 ultra. Also, what software did you use to edit and add the effects? I'm a total beginner when it comes to all of but i am getting real desperate because if i don't find a job in the next 2 months then i am going to have to go back home jobless and live with parents which i don't want to do as i need to support them too (the euro is stronger!).

Any camera will do, your phone sounds more than capable enough! Make sure to use a tripod so your phone is stable. Write a script so you know what you want to talk about. Make sure to rehearse it, so it comes out easily. I used Premiere Pro to edit it but I'm sure CapCut or any other (free) editing software can achieve the same results. Don't be afraid to ask your friends for help! Offer them some of your skills in return. Good luck with the job hunt!!
