Yes I agree, even if those interactive rides are very good and every "big" theme park should have one IMO, the need for more interactive rides isn't that much present and people still want to enjoy things simply by traveling through it. It's the scene, the story, and the sets that are importants

It's located in Germany, it's called Europapark ! Best themed park in the world according to the golden ticket awards (since if i remember well). This is an incredible theme park themed around some europe countries, and some more "fairy" lands. You can find a very good theming, great rides, and A LOT to do here as the park is really big and well rounded. I could talk about it for hours but if you don't know Europapark yet you should definitely check it out, it's really a cool thing we have here in Europe :) !

The park is so beautiful that you can buy an admission, at a lower price, that doesn't include the rides, so you can enjoy the park and all the shopping and street shows

@@thewhiteape1686 no you get a wristband that shows you only paid for the park and not the rides. We saw lots of grannies with their families who did that. Seriously, the park landscaping is gorgeous and without the rides, it would be a nice place to spend the day. Sorry I didn't make that clear in my first comment :)

It didn't age so well. The 3D is very clunky and all, but the universe itself is well designed atleast in my opinion, so that's why as a dark ride it's still very beatifull. And the ride is very well designed in most aspects.

To my knowledge the only kids ride in the world to feature the n-word (around 2:37)... you can't hear it much in this video but it's DEFINITELY audible when on the ride! That bit of casual inappropriateness aside it's a great ride and a truly awesome ride system :D

It's a fantastic ride indeed but as a dark ride I still prefer the new version of Piraten in batavia, and as a coaster I'd still prefer the more trhilling rides they have, but as a unique experience this is very well done indeed ! I'd still say when yo usee it in person you still find some of its flaws more than in the video but this is one of the things i'm happy to do when going to this park

This is truly something cool as a ride system, but it costs a lot (mack rides are always pretty costy but this one even more as it is very technical and innovative), so It's not probable that there will be this model in USA + they started selling it a while back and it already didn't sell well at the time so unless they try to remake another version it won't sell much more I guess :/ that's a shame because it allows good thrilling moments while staying a very good dark ride system too.

I'm interested because this model or ride system is specific to mack rides and it didn't sell well mostly because it is very expensive, so I'm not so positive about the possibilty of it being sold nowadays in the USA, but maybe I could be wrong and it would be fantastic to see what they could do with it.

If the ride is supposed to be from the perspective of someone small, why the hell are there parts of the track outdoors, thus breaking the illusion? Did they run out of money? And why did they stop in front of a scene that's just four lights and a projector that barely shows anything? Even if it's a scene from the source material, it could've been more visually interesting. Hell, this whole ride seems to be half-assed!

I would say yes but it's more complicated, they just used the old films to sell more but it has nearly nothing to do with arthur and the invisibles (i guess it's the english name). The old films didn't age well and the new one is garbage, but the universe is still intersting and well designed and that's why as a ride it's still looking pretty good

Nope ! harry potter's forbidden journey ride system is more like an arm that manipulates the visitors around, and here it's more like an inverted powered coaster with the possibility to rotate the "vehicule". This model didn't sell well because of its price but it was very promising and it's a shame we don't really see that much rides with this system. So yeah the difference is here it's more like a coaster and forbidden journey looks more like an excavator with seats that moves along a path

Completely disagree. If we're going by numbers the US has many unthemed car-park rollercoasters built purely for thrills which comparatively are way more "crazy, ugly and weird" than rides you very commonly get in France, Germany, etc. The truth is it's hard to compare so many parks in one go (I mean Europe is a whole continent, saying they are crazy, ugly and weird is quite a generalisation). Even for me to talk about "US Parks" is a bit muddy given the spectrum of parks there.

The U.S stuff sometimes have lower standards and are much less safe than the European ones, which, for example, Efteling from the Netherlands cares very highly about this and give all their big roller coasters proper maintenance and close some down during bad weather, which is something that most U.S parks would let slide.
