great to have you back! These homemade, courtside views are in many ways more enjoyable than professionally broadcast tournaments where it's more difficult to appreciate ball spin and velocity, player footwork, line calls, etc.

THAT . WAS . AN . AWESOME . MATCH! Too bad the match was abandoned. Both are fantastic collegiate players who I think would do very well in the pros. Thanks for capturing this match for us to enjoy, J10S! You rock!
@greenapple5592 жыл бұрын
“they would do very well in the pros”…not at this point they wouldn’t. Today they would get crushed in the qualifying of any ATP 250+ tourney. It’s the ball consistency really. With pros you see consistent 15-20 ball + rallies. How many 20 ball rallies did you see in this vid? It’s possible like I said but the difference between Pros and these guys is huge.

@@playbetter9194 I root for Arthur every time I see him. Uber talented. But do you really see him succeeding on the pro circuit? Possibly ..., I guess we'll see. I see him more likely working in Daddy's real estate empire or as a commodities broker or some similar enterprise. Just a feeling because I've never met the guy. Wish he had about 3 more inches in height. He'll be a fantastic tennis player for the rest of his life. But in 5 years I see him as 50 lbs overweight and playing club weekends at the swankiest club in the County.

Tennis, at least mainly on the men's side, has really become unenjoyable to watch. Love the video, great quality and angle, these guys are belting it. Stefan... is a massive tool. He is the kind of obnoxious gigachad "yelling C'MON after unforced errors" energy that I grew up playing against in high school and is the exact peen-measuring behavior that tennis, and humanity as a whole really, should be trying to do away with.
@againsthegrainx75562 жыл бұрын
I saw him apologize for a mishit lop - also yelling "come on" can be a genuine way of keeping up intensity and trying ones best as a competitor to be in the right spirit and mindset...Sure, if it's coming after a double fault or unforced error that's probably not the best, but it didn't look like that was what was happening to me.
@asantesamuel132 жыл бұрын
@@againsthegrainx7556 I agree and mostly what it felt like to me was he was yelling Come On so loudly because he had no supporters basically and was trying to keep himself pumped up. If I was playing against him I'd definitely find it obnoxious but at least he was respectful during the points which is all I care about. There was no excessive grunting and his calls seemed fair to me so the loud come ons are kind of no biggie.
@scrobertson22 жыл бұрын

Arthur in this match is like that guy I hate to play against because he intends to make every point a 1 min long rally like we're training, just never goes for a risky move and always hits the ball back to the center of the court
@tomk5238 Жыл бұрын
thats not true tho. He hits it in the center for the first few shots and then when a ball shits up high he goes for the down the line or sets up for an approach. that is what you are suppose to do. wait for a weak ball instead of just smacking it at all times.
