That was always my #1 complaint with RDR2. Not enough intractable prompts with the environment. I want to Roleplay my characters doing things like leaning against a wall or a tree, idly sitting at a table, just kinda doing random little unimportant things. Playing harmonica was one of my #1 biggest wishes. That would have been amazing. Make a campfire and play a harmonica to close out the day.

My headcannon is that this is an alternate timeline where Arthur is coming home after a long day after finding some honest work as a woodcutter, or maybe as an ice pick since there was no refrigeration back then people needed ice cubes delivered to them.

After Blackwater Arthur lost contact with the gang in the Mountains. He found a cosy home to stay until the storm wears off. Most of the Gang froze to death just outside of Colter. John was eaten by wolves. Micah was taken hostage by O'driscolls at Adler's Ranch, forced to wear Sadie's clothes and dance. And Trelawny fled with the Blackwater money, buying the plantations in Guarma and expanding Slave Labor.

I do this sometimes with myself when i play rdr2. Since i’ve never played online, i ”roleplay” (kinda) with myself 😅 just going around the world, hunting, exploring amazing places and close the hud and stuff so it feels real I guess, finding temporary shelters or cabins and well, leaving the marston family for half a year 😅 lol

They should do to this game like what they did with ghost recon breakpoint. Add more missions that takes you to different places thats unfamiliar on the map. I love being up in the snowy mountains in this game.

I was once in a nasty blizzard up to my knee nowhere land , I thought I was going to freeze and nobody finds me ! I finally broke through trees and heavy snow to make it bk home , it took 2 hrs in warm bath to revive me , 😮 It is dangerously hard to survive in a blizzard 🥶.
