Good singing is a gift in him. It's not even surprising. The boy can sing but he is not showing his diverse range of music. He is being supported even by the producers because he epitomizes American Dream. He is an immigrant. He fits the virtue of a dreamer and so far he is riding on people's love for country music but that may not be enough. Although I hate to believe I am afraid he would not sound as charismatic as he is after the IDOL.
