If I'd change my taste in men, I wouldn't like Arthur anymore lol and yes, it's pretty toxic to want to totally change for someone else. The song is very good though and I think he'll hit it big soon. At least I wish he will. I actually felt he posted about something on Insta and I was right, it really made my day. Give our Lord V. more attention. If he would have any more charm, the rest of us wouldn't have much left to share.
