I’ve only discovered Outlander this year 2021, 7 years later, how blessed I feel to have done so. Love discovering this interview all these years later too, great chemistry on & off screen. 💃🏻🕺🏼👍🏼🙏🏼💝

6/18/22. Watching season 1 for the 3rd time. A fantasy that will take you away from this crazy world. Adore these two and their chemistry is what everyone deserves and dreams of. ♥️

the best interviewer they have ever had... even after six years. He is totally engaged and the questions elicit compelling responses.

When Arthur Kade started introducing Sam and Cait, have to say he sounded a little different but what a great interviewer, he was genuinely interested and full of admiration for our lovely twosome, wish they were, and they also answered the questions well and as usual were a joy to watch...

You know I have watched season 1 over and over and over again and that doesn't tell how many times I've seen it but to get back to the truth I can see it a thousand times more and watch it as if it is my first time.

I wished Outlander would use Caitirona laugh or chuckle in the series it would be so much more exciting. She is wonderful actress and gives so much now and isn’t a Scene stealer as others are she plays off Sam and he with her as the main characters.

Sam is still the same humble , kind, funny, gorgeous and beautiful inside and outside person! I am so glad that he hasn't changed a bit.. But, Caitriona has changed just a little concerning her attitude to Sam, because of her marriage probably and she is a little more ''mean'' against Sam.. Just my opinion , after all the interviews i've seen and I have seen all the interviews. This one I hadn't seen though. I love them both!

I agree too. I don’t know whether you’ve seen that interview, I think it was Entertainment Weekly 2020. Catriona first said that her Jamie is a stud and then said that she doesn’t think of Sam and herself when she reads the books. Sam replied, thanks for that.

It's such a beautiful thing when any 2 people can form this kind of relationship... those kindred spirits who just "get" us ('the dissolving into the silly humor of little kids').

I agree, he's a fan for real! Caitriona was looking at the interviewer a bit like "he's really taken with Sam! Can't blame the man., but he is larger than Sam. So if he gets to giddy hell Sam couldn't hold him off !

I love Outlander, but I still have to ask the question...Why do Jack Randall and Frank look alike? Have you ever really thought about that one? Just take a quick minute and think about it...
@21stellaluna2 жыл бұрын
I hope after 2 years you are still intersted in this question. Well, in my opinion it is very challenging for the viewer to handle that Frank and Black Jack look alike. At the beginning, I was very disturbed by that fact because Frank is very kind. And than we see the same person who is so overwhelminghly bad. Not so easy to handle ones feelings. In retrospective I feel it gave the viewers the opportunity to become aware of our prejudices and to learn to let them go. We have to learn about ourselves. T believe the whole show constantly challenges the viewers to leave our comfort zones and ask ourselves questions about ourselves and life itself. Then, for Tobias Menzies it was the possibility to show what a strong actor he is in playing these 2 opposite roles so perfectly. And maybe it was also the first time that a TV-show went that way. I think there are other "first time shown in TV moments" in Outlander.

Is it just me or does Sam speak in a similar manner as Jesse Eisenberg? Setting aside the Scottish accent and lower voice, his cadence and facial tics are very similar. I noticed it in passing in some other interviews but it's most apparent here. I had always thought Jesse had a very idiosyncratic way of speaking. Just a funny observation I made... I wonder why it is?
