Born in 1905, the late Arthur M. Young was the inventor of the Bell Helicoptor. He was also founder of the Institute for the Study of Consciousness in Berkeley, California, and author of The Reflexive Universe and The Geometry of Meaning.
Here Young elaborates on the difference between the planets Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, explaining how the planetary cycles of Saturn have had significance in his own life. He discusses the use of progressed charts in astrology from the perspective of systems theory in which whole cycles are embedded within each other. Astrology, he suggests, is a larger more comprehensive system than science. Scientists can benefit from studying it regardless of its application in individual horoscopes.
Thinking Allowed has recently completed the massive task of remastering and digitizing all 450 programs in our series, which aired on PBS stations across the U.S. from 1986 through 2002.
The new, hi-res programs will be made available in various ways yet to be determined. We begin this access process by making available all of the programs we made featuring Arthur M. Young, teacher and mentor to both Jeffrey Mishlove and to series co-producer/director Arthur Bloch.

I so much agree with every one writing here below. Thank you Arthur and Jeffrey! I so much love listening to this incredible, organic, systemic, insightful and consciousness filled conversations between the 2 of them..! I love how Arthur pushes the boundaries a bit further every time with humor and fun - (i.e. ..paraphrasing for a moment: "..If you go to the deep end of an Institution, ...you become Institutionalized.." ..lol..) - And I love how Jeffrey "reins him in" and bring together the conversation. What a fantastic duo! - I remember watching a video of A Young & J Mishlove for the first time 2 months ago, and thinking out loud..: "How nice would it be to have had Arthur Young as grandfather.." - Arthur could God bless your essence forever, wherever you dwell now! Amen

If only Arthur could see the scientism that has come to fruition in the past year. 2020 seemed to be the first bell to ring in the age of Aquarius. Ray Grasse's videos made for the theosophical society regarding the age of Aquarius echo Arthur's views very loudly.

Very interesting. This is the first person I've heard speaking about the planets having a effect on consciencenes of individuals. It brings so many other questions. Does it work in a vague way on everyone? Are some effected uniquely? How could we measure this to verify it?

Your question about measurement and verification is ironic given that so much of this two-part series is Bell explaining how measurement doesn't work here, the meaning of astrological events is subjective, and that the final reckoning of the astrological systems is un-repeatable, lived experience.

@@jonfers how can you say a astrological bodies cannot effect us and it cannot be measured? The moon does affect us and we depend on it. I'm simply hypothesising potential questions if the thought were to be taken seriously. I am not for or against there being a possibility that not only the sun and moon effect us. And simply because we do not know how it could be measured is mute. All that means is we're ignorant to the method. If there be one. But we would have to take the possibility of the question seriously. If we wanted to even see if there was anything to other objects in space affecting us.
