It’s so sad when you think about the fact that Arthur’s son and ex girlfriend died for few bucks which is similar to how Arthur contracted tuberculosis by beating a man for a few bucks who was already almost dead. i no joke bawled my eyes out for a good 30 minutes after the conversation with the sister. i went into this game knowing arthur's fate, but i wasn't expecting to love his character as much as i do. his face when saying he's afraid killed me, he looked so sad and worried. i cried a lot during all of chapter 6. every time his sickness was brought up, every time i got him to help people, conversations with mrs. downes, all of it ruined me. a big reason this hurt so much for me is that the first family member of mine that passed away was my grandfather. i was in highschool and he was the youngest and most healthy, active grandparent of mine. he ended up getting cancer that spread and progressed very rapidly. in 6 months he went from being diagnosed, everyone being told it was going to go away, then to him quickly getting worse and passing. since then i've had this huge fear and hole in my heart thinking about what was going on in his head during his final weeks. i can't imagine what it's like knowing that the odds aren't in your favor. being sick like that has been something i worry about ever since, even though i'm perfectly healthy. this experience of mine really made this part of the game hit close to home for me. i adore this game with all of my heart, and it has taught me a lot of things i think i've needed to hear.

The train scene when Arthur says he's afraid never fails to bring a tear to my eyes. My younger brother is terminally ill and it breaks my heart to think what one goes through when you find out that your health is slowly failing and every day the pain and anxiety and uncertainty grows stronger. I just wish I could take his place and it was me that was sick instead of him, his suffering is unbearable and I'm not even the one sick.

The sister is one of my favorite people in this game. There are three scenes she has with Arthur (I think) and in every one she is nothing but uplifting and life confirming. The honesty and the way Arthur opened his soul to her brought me to tears. A separate fun side note: the 100 dollars Arthur got back from the wage thief in today's dollars, 1,900, about 1800 euros. I love your gaming videos and I'm sure that movies, music and anything else you decide to try out will go well for you. I wish you the best. PS; I adore Sadie in everything she does and in the way she picked herself up from the depths and made a life for herself. I think there's a good example there for all of us. ❤

Many people who play this game miss the quest.Since you did this in chapter 6 Arthurs dialogue changes since you have high honour if you do the quest in Chapter 2 its differnt. you can also tie the guy up and bring him to the foreman. You also did not have do this stealthy you could have ran up to him and forced him to tell you were the money is. You can also keep the money for yourself the game will not tell you that though.

Hi Cam, Happy for another episode. You can spend some of your money getting more weapons ( and upgrades ) and more clothing and accessories, The best places are St. Denis gunsmith and tailor. Yes, at 36:25 you did see a weapon location on your mini map. You just had to go a little more north, you kept going south. Lol. You can also sell/donate wolf hearts, you can't craft/eat them. I can't remember if those weird trees have something to do with the Reed Cottage Treasure ( Reed's cottage, North of Annesburg, E of the N ). I know there is something to them. There is another stranger encounter, if your interested. It's south of Butcher's Creek, under the first train track bridge that crosses Kamassa River. Many people don't realize those nasty O'Driscol's had Sadie locked in a cellar for three days, You can imagine what they did to her for their enjoyment.

And I would love some extra content to see when you hunt or fish those trophies or finish side quests left behind cause we cannot be so many episodes from endgame now. You still have a night encounter in the swamp I think you haven’t encountered yet or the vampire in st Denis, but those is to search and like i said evening or night encounters.

Another great playthrough from the wonderful Cam! I believe that the trail trees are a nod to the Native American people who lived in the Appalachian Mountain range (Roanoke) area of the U.S. They had techniques for growing trees with those 90 degree bends in them to point people in the direction of life saving things, such as settlements and water.

Oh whoah I totally forgot about the Central Union Railroad Camp, Random Encounter(RE) string not being discovered yet. Nice. @Cambonano There are three such Random Encounter strings in the game and you've already finished the first two; the Castor's Ridge RE string(the father and two sons building a house near Valentine), and the Appleseed Timber Company RE string(the lumber camp that you could sell supplies to). Each RE string has multiple stages and the window of time for completing every stage of all three RE's is relatively short once you discover the first stage. I don't recall if you discovered every stage of those two RE strings, but you can try to fully complete this railroad camp one if you choose to try. I do not know the exact cut-off points for any of the RE strings, just know that the clock is now ticking for this one. If you'd like to someday watch a video of all three, complete Random Encounter strings I can give you its video title if you like.(I would not recommend watching it until you're done with your current playthrough of course)

It's strange. Being an outlaw you'd think Arthur didn't fear death given his life could be compromised at any time. So it begs the question why is he afraid? Is it the cold reality that death is coming soon or is he contemplating his life and is filled with regret. Fear of unfulfillment? This game has so many emotional layers and life lessons. I never liked Westerns or cowboy anything. Bought Rdr2 out of the blue back in the day because it looked the best on the console and for the open world aspect. Boy was I surprised to find such a rich story and a character I will never forget
