I’d say endurance is Arthur >= John (John fell from a train whilst being shot and somehow walked back to camp, endured bites and scratches from a bear, endured in the winter and the wolves) but Arthur’s endurance feats are slightly better due to TB and him being tortured twice. Skill imo John >= Arthur. Take the swimming and drawing aside, John can learn fast and we’ve seen it during the epilogue, plus he learned things from Landon as well. Battle IQ gotta go to John, yes you may beg to differ but he won against a whole army during a civil war and he was a good leader during rdr1. John also planned on the train robbery during chapter 2. Abilities is equal imo, John can activate eagle eye as well, remember that he was taught by the early members of the Van Der Linde Gang.

I totally agree but I think draw speed goes to Arthur because in most missions like the Braithwaite manor attack there's a cutscene where Arthur and John both barge open the door and it turns into a dead eye draw and Arthur draws his gun before John and kills them before John can even draw his own weapon.

This describes how I feel about the 2 exactly. They are so evenly matched in almost every way, but if they ever had to go up against each other in their peak, Arthur would put John in the ground. Brothers never fight, but Arthur would win.

I love both John and Arthur but John would still demolish Arthur Strength: Arthur he's bigger taller and bulkier Speed: John Slimmer and he has a faster draw speed as I will explain soon Durability: Equal John could take 2 hits to the back of the head full strength from the back of a gun Arthur only took 1 to the face he also survived being exploded on a truck while Arthurs shotgun feat is impressive John’s explosion is just as impressive Endurance: John because first John was shot in the Blackwater Heist and still got away then a few days later he gets mauled by wolves and stranded on a mountain in probably negative degree weather. Next John gets shot off a train and most likely he rolls down a small hill before he gets up and walks all the way back to camp. Next, he gets mauled by a bear. Next shot by Bill's gang. Next hit in the head full strength with the back of a gun and doesn't get a concussion. Next gets exploded on a car and finally, after all of that he gets shot like 15 times and survives for 45 seconds. Intelligence: John Different areas of expertise John is a better rancher builder and Arthur admitted that John was a faster learner than himself plus John is older, But Arthur is better at drawing so more artistic and probably better at cleaning because he cleans guns more often in the story. But John managed to calm down the sheep auction staff compared to Arthur who was threatening them. Ok so draw speed Arthur his draw speed is literally 200millisecond and he consistently draws on 5 people without dying whilst john literally struggles to draw and shoot 2 Mexicans causing luisa to die in the process . Skill arthur hes been doing it for longer and knows basically everything john learns by mid to endgame at the start of the game without anyone teaching him (also rickets taught john only how to aim properly nothing else). @@Patatras_5325 I already proved john's draw speed was 50 milliseconds if you want to read it again go ahead So, at the end of Red Dead Redemption, taking into consideration that when John left the barn the enemies had weapons aimed at him with their fingers on the trigger. They were fully ready to kill him, yet John still manages to draw his gun faster than they can react and fire. Now since the average reaction time is, 200 milliseconds or so. I would assume that it took about 250-300 milliseconds for the enemies to react and fire. Yet if you stand still and don't fire at the enemies it takes 7 whole seconds for the enemies to fire at John inside of deadeye. Which means that if you divide 300/7 It took around 50 milliseconds for John to draw his gun. Also, I have a theory on why John was so fast. I think John's willpower actually boosted his speed and reflexes so much so that 7 seconds to him was actually 300 milliseconds, and he had a must faster speed than normal. To back up this claim that it was 300 milliseconds the enemies in his perspective, weren't even moving to him either. So, this means that John has the fastest draw speed in the series.

Definitely John. His right or left eye is blind, and there's even an outfit in rdr (the deadly assassin outfit) that puts a patch on his blind eye, and if you shoot a bird there's a chance of him saying "Guess I got my eye back". Meaning that he shoots while one of his eyes is blind. And while you're on a stagecoach, he holds repeaters/rifles with one hand if you aim/shoot backwards and does all of this while sitting, while Arthur stands up, turns around and holds the repeater/rifle with two hands. While we don't see much, after being trained by Ricketts we unlock dead eye level 3, and since dead eye revolves around accuracy this means John has became more accurate while shooting. John is also a famous or the most famous bounty hunter in rdri, the fame system only applies for John since NPCs will recognize him, but they never recognize Jack. There's also many dialogue lines that prove many people know who John is and why he's here. And if he's that good of a bounty hunter this means that in a hypothetical situation he could capture most of the gang members, if not, all of them. And the gang was good at hiding, the only thing that got them discovered was their exploits. He was also smart enough to prepare before raiding Bill and Javier's hideouts. It even took a whole army to end John's life.

for draw speed you are very correct, in rdr1 when you draw it takes like less than 0.2 seconds while in rdr2 its like a whole second
