Back in the late 60s Arthur Negus & The Hopscotch Three were the biggest band in Selby. Their "Live in Selby" album sold thousands of copies (all to the local record shop - their very wise manager crossed-out the sale-or-return part on the invoice which means the shop still has them in the store room).
Their manager was Hugh "Huge" Scully, who at every opportunity would pitch their singalong anthem "Ode to Arthur" to be the theme to every new programme that starred Arthur (including an ill-fated Doctor Who pilot).
Here's an idea of how the song would have fitted with the titles.
For those who really want to know, this is a creation by Udio's AI Music generator, which is quite scary.
