This was just my favourite series as a young teenager! I even dropped out of school choir because it was on the night when this was on, it was a real big deal to see it every week! Thank you so much for putting this together, amazing to see after all those years...!

I used to love this series...always dashed home from work and settled down with a Frys Turkish Delight to watch... I still have one of the books based on the series...

@skunkwit Thank you for your comment. I think that Arthur was Oliver Tobias' best role and watching the DVD after a 35 year wait was wonderful. What a great idea for a hen night. They honestly don't made intellegent series for kids or adults like this now:-)

I HATED the show but boy did I LOVE Oliver. He was gorgeous & sexy. Mind you I was only a kid at the time lol, I think he may have been my first big crush. He really was delicious.

@Galley87 Thank you for your comment. This series was of exceptional quality. I agree they do not make series like this today. I would recommend the DVD. And yes - that was indeed a young Brian Blessed as the troublesome Mark of Cornwall who featured in many of the episodes:-)

Jim Morrison! Only joking, but this TV series is from my earliest memories. Anyone remember UFO? Camberwick Green? Land of the Giants? Mary, Mungo and Midge? Crown Court? The One O' Clock News with the typewriter in the credits. In GREEN? Lol!

Well I would definitely order it if it came in a plain brown wrapper but I think the embarrassment of being caught watching it at home would be crushing!! I do have a signed photo of Mr Tobias to ogle however!

@99fruitbat I think it is, I am stidying History at Uni too, and I give Kenneth Branagh in Henry V at least part of the credit for that, part of it anyway. Though mostly it was because I liked history before that.
