I was also confident in killing Hades yesterday. I got past Cerberus and confronted the lord of the underworld. I readied my weapon but he told me to pass. Titan's blood appeared as the realization hit me. My excitement of using this amazing build I personally crafted came crashing down.

@@mithos92 On my run where he let me pass I went in off some kind of poor decisions where I fought both Charon and Little Vermin in the same run, and as a result was kind of battered with inky one defiance, I went into the Hades fight ready to fight tooth and nail, because my build wasn't really cohesive either, and then he just let me pass lol.

I think Zeus is kinda OP. Specially on weapons with fast attack, like Gloves or Chiron Bow. I only cleared heat 16, but it's like you demolish all enemies in any room.

Cool thing about how searchable your vids are is: when I'm using a build, I can usually find a video of you (or Haelian) doing close to that exact same thing. I think it'll age well cuz of that, it's like, people will come to watch these when they have a similar build going. Personally I had Aphrodite on my special and Dio on my dash (making me very privileged, and crits were insane). Then I got Low Tolerance and Heart Rend duo boons :)

Picked up Hades recently, but I've been loving the Arthur sword. Little tip in case you didn't know, what I do to execute the big dash swings is do the first attack and then hit dash and attack and the same time if I want to dash for the followups. Works for me on controller. Keep up the content!

@@punani_slayer4209 After you get the Guan Yu spear (which I think is 5 Titan Blood in any non-Zagreus aspect and Achilles gives it to you), you put 5 Titan Blood in non-Zagreus Sword aspects and eventually Nyx will tell you the codeword.

@@punani_slayer4209 if you do not have the guan yu aspect, then if you invest 5 total in the sword (poseidon and nemesis) you should eventually get both

As someone who isn't great at the game I managed extreme measures hades on my first attempt at it, so I think the real killer here was forced overtime. Hades third phase is tough but doable, but I seem to get bodied by forced overtime more than any other pact condition. Also, the dice just weren't in his favour during the hades fight - go back and watch, he's definitely rolling low on the amount of crits popping, even allowing the absence of hunter's mark on most of hades phases.

Hmm. Im kinda thinking athena attack is better is because you can always deflect with the attack. And the duo boon is more crit chance than artemis attack. And if you can get expose woth shadow slash i can just imagine the back attack crit dmg

Every time I run Arthur I end up with around 450 hp vs Hades. Makes it so easy to win when u have like 1200 hp total.
