Why when finding the orthocenter did you have to connect the arcs from A B and C to find the midpoints? couldn’t you just measure the lines and mark the midpoints then draw a perpendicular line through each midpoint?

and when you say you set it “slightly longer than half the line segment”, what is “slightly longer”?? does it matter how much longer?

@@AliceYobby I'm a bit late the point of drawing the arcs is to find two equidistant points from the two vertices, by joining which we get the perpendicular bisector. now if the arcs are shorter than half the line segment, the two arcs won't intersect and if the arcs are of the same length as half of the line segment then they will intersect only at a single point. also i don't think it really matters how long they are as long as it is more than half the line segment
