i once did a complete kitchen renovation using a horrible little tablesaw that was put at my disposal by my customer. i adjusted it, cleaned it up, bought a new blade and built all the jigs i needed to get something out of it. it worked perfectly. a cheap tablesaw can be seen as just a apparatus to hold a motor and spin it. if you invest a bit of effort you can make even the worst equipment work for you, as long as the basic function (spinning a saw blade) is there. great job!

Was it a TITAN TABLE SAW mate? I have one of these shit boxes and the mitre slots are too small. The table top is all lumps and bumps and u will never get a clean cut and as usual the fence is too short and doesn't lock down properly. Once u try a rip cut it's moving away and u cannot get a straight cut.. Shame bcos it looked kinda promising in the beginning. That optimism faded fast bro.. LMAO.. Pure unadulterated shite imho. I am going to try remove the top of it bcos the motor is a 1400 and it has a wee bit of power. Whether it's strong enough to cut through 18mm MDF, PLY, OSB is another story but I'll be working at it today so wish me a small amount of luck.. I know I'm going to need it man.. I hear what ur asying about putting some work into it. I bought the type 30 tracks and I have a sweet Wnew Mitre Gauge coming in the post 2. It's one of those sweet looking ones and it's no good to me with the mitre slots on this bucket saw top,, I'm all in now bro,.. LOL

Just watched this video again my bro.. I love how u put the new top onto this saw.. It pops like crazy man.. Great work again bro.. I was looking at buying a Cast Iron table saw but I have changed my mind and invested in some really great blades for this crap table saw & the cuts are phenomenal .. I'm using a brand of Blade called SAXTON BLADES PROFESSIONAL and they only cost about 40 euros and the cuts from them are beautiful. I even use their cheaper blades at around 20 euros and they cut so well also. I haven't had any tear out atm and I've been using them for 2 months. Now tbh I clean them once a week. Every saturday morning I take all my blades out and give them a good clean with a softish wire brush and some WD40.. It's amazing how good WD40 is at cleaning my blades. LOL I have made some sleds for my saw but they're my 1st ones and I've learned a few things that I can improve upon now having used them for a wee while. I really want to change out the top but I need to build a new square tubing body so I can put a 2nd wheel for changing the angles of the blade. I want to be able to change that in my saw bcos it's a powerful enough saw and I'm even thinking of trying to get it changed to a belt driven saw blade if I can. I'm looking at buying the motor and belts and pulleys and just building my own table saw from scratch my bro. I doubt it'll cost me 2 grand to get it all built myself. In fact I think I can get it done, bells and whistles for less than a grand in the end with help from family members who know how to weld steel for me for the body of the saw. It's always good to have family to help.. LOL Great video bro. I really enjoyed watching it again..

9:50 Don't use the flat edge of your router with a straight edge for straight cuts like this. Instead, use the rounded edges of your router along the straight edge. The reason is because, if you accidentally twist the router, the bit will go off in a direction you don't want it to. Alternately, if you're using the rounded edge of your router along your straight edge, and twist the router, the bit won't wander off course, it will stay right where you want it to be.

Very good! My first table saw is an Einhell 2025 and it’s excellent except the fence and the mitre slots are garbage. I’d be interested to see a cost list for this upgrade and see if, when added to the cost of the saw, it’s cheaper or equal to buying a secondhand Dewalt 745 or even an old cast iron cabinet saw.

Hey there bro.. Could u tell me hopw hard is it to get those table saw tops off?? I have a shitty TITSN table saw and I want to replace the top ASAP .. I'm goin to use Plywood or MDF for my table top bro. What was that sticky sheet stuff u put on at the end. That made the top look great but how long will it be b4 it gets scratched up to bits? What is that surface stuff u put on the top at the end and how difficult was it to take the old table top off and then to line those holes up again for the new top?? Any helpful advice u gould give me would be very much appreciated pal.. Great job and I wanna see it runnig now. It looks way too good to be just sitting there, Why didn't u do a few cuts?

Hallo Arthur, super Projekt! Respekt. Fertige Sägen...da hat man eh immer was auszusetzen. Du nutzt also den originalen Parallelanschlag.
