However, just a silly mistake in your example...If Emergency is proclaimed on 1-1-2019 and after approval of Parliament , I think it will continue till 1-7-2019 i.e. 1st July,2019 not till 1-6-2019 i.e. 1st June, 2019 as you mentioned in the video. @@kandarpvanita5839Ok, First thing first... As explained in the video, once National Emergency is proclaimed, it remains in effect for maximum of 6 months only. So, let say Emergency is proclaimed on 1-1-2019 i.e. 1st of January 2019 and Parliament approved it immediately on that very day, so it will remain in effect for next 6 months i.e. Jan., Feb., March, April, May and June. Therefore, 6 months will get over on 1-7-2019 i.e. 1st of July 2019. (not on 1-6-2019 as erroneously mentioned in the video). Hope it helps. Thanks! 😊
