A deep dive into Article IV of the Constitution, which lays out how federalism, the system of shared governance between states and the federal government, works in practice. In this video, Kim Kutz Elliott discusses Article IV with scholars Gabriel Chin and Erin Hawley.
To read more, visit the National Constitution Center’s Interactive Constitution. On this site, leading scholars interact and explore the Constitution and its history. For each provision of the Constitution, experts from different political perspectives coauthor interpretive explanations when they agree and write separately when their opinions diverge.

I'd like to pick the brains of the 3 people who disliked this video...were they lying? Wrong? Do they just hate the Constitution or something? Or that this new woman is narrating? So curious!

I thought it was poorly done. It was very subtle but they were very clever when they steered away from the word "Invasion". That's what we "got" going on. Instead they started diverting to "protection against England". So I'd be vigilant of the con-academies.

These legal experts are not historians. The "framers" were not university professors! Aristotle saw the problem of democracy and underlined it. In a democracy, what will prevent the poor from taking the wealth and property of the rich? Madison and Hamilton created the American Senate to do just that. The Madison Constitution has stood since 1789, no small thing. In democracies, most constitutions last about 20 years. But now, rather than pliable, it may have become brittle, too difficult to amend in a deeply polarized electorate.

Similar to Christian's "revising" the "original " intent of the Tankah! 😊

Shouldn't you be explaining this to President CALIGULA? He butts in and interferes whenever he just doesn't like something. And he answers to PUTIN not US.

...and you have to have a Republican form of government for that to work. We haven't had a Republican form of government since those nasty brothers stuck their nose (and ginormous bank accts into the matter) and put it on the path that leads to an Oligarchy.
