Indeed. The Eclectic camp whilst claiming no doctrinal allegiance, presuppose a low view of the doctrine of preservation knowingly aware that they are deviating from historical standpoints. I think it is becoming increasingly obvious to many interested in the preservation of scripture, that the eclectic claim to 'scientific monopoly' is nothing more than a propagandist trumpet to prejudice ordinary folk in the church, who are often using their modern versions, against the believing critical method of Jerome, Erasmus, the Reformers et al.

This video is now on my top 10 of all time by anyone! This man is a genius! I especially treasure his comments on Bibles in modern French. As someone who has been involved in missionary work in Haiti for 20 years, I have recently been searching for TR based Bibles in 20th century French. I will look up the modernized Martin edition.
