There's no one else I'd rather be co-belligerent with. :p One of the Criticism that's often leveled against this argument is that the 'verse length' selections are arbitrary, but that misses the point of the argument: They happen to be small and convenient places with which to test the CT. The modern methodology doesn't really care that these are essential conjectures, it's expected by the eclectic method. But that begs the questions: Should a preserved text have these conjectures where there is no ms support? I think we'd both agree on the answer to this one. Great video. Glad your back :)

Dr. Riddle, what is your process in differing TR readings, like Luke 2:22? I've been going over all the variants between Trs, majority and kjv and found about 99% of them are meaningless but was wondering on the few significant ones.

Though I am not a biblical scholar nor linguist, I have collated 5 bibles in my short time as a believer. If someone like myself can not only see the modern versions are chopped and screwed, which lead believers to confusion, but realize that the KJV is the mantle, it is quite sad that educated men and women cannot see the same.

This should be a printed article on the TBS with the full list displayed. I will never again allow the CT advocate to dictate how many manuscripts a verse (we have) has to support it.
