Art 4 says no need of amendment in constitution for admit established or renaming or birfucate state/territory but 12th amendment in constitution done Why they did while they could admit territory through only simple majority so why they did amended in constitution ?

Sir Manipur had already gained statehood know in 1972 along with Tripura? Then how in 1987 along with Arunachal Pradesh??

Actually its not manipur its is mizoram which was earlier a union territory and in 1987 became a fully flegged state
