Showing the rental code screen before the showdown analysis is definitely really helpful as it lets us get a really fast, Birdseye view of the sets before the deep team teardown. You can just see really quick stuff like "OK, standard Lando-I set, it's follow-me Ogerpon not Swords Dance, and it's one of those AV Raging Bolts that drops Thunderbolt for speed control, cool". Once you have that knowledge from the jump it's so much easier to focus on what matters in the detailed analysis.

It is actually pretty nutty to hear the words "bulky" and "Articuno" in the same sentence, since in the past Articuno was more akin to a wet paper towel when it came to the VGC metagames of the past. I absolutely adore this change to snow in ScVi. Gives opportunities for these cool (pun definitely intended) Pokémon to shine. QOTD: Since gen 1, I've always loved Articuno. I still remember feeling like it was actually the most legendary feeling of the bird trio since getting to it actually required solving a proper strength puzzle (which I absolutely despised, which made the reward of being catch Articuno feel even better!) And ever since I've very much liked to use it whenever I had a chance!

Hey Aaron I was wondering why fire is a better defensive Terra for nine tails than electric. It seems to me like they both resist steel which is important, but electric is only weak to ground whereas fire is weak to ground, water, and rock (which ice is also weak to so u can’t terra out!)
