OrangE you don't get it. The torch gives 20% wetness resistance and in regular ds it usually rains once in the first two days so when it does he will lose 20% LESS SANITY from it. Those are some pro strats.

This is what I call "ant farming" my favorite type of video game is when you have a small number of AI amd you have to train and equip them and watch them try and survive. Its genuinely facinating to see how the AI deal with problems. Self learning AI are the pinicle of this.

Honestly it just depends on who developed the AI and how much information and time they allow for the AI to learn. Google made an AI that can play GO at championship levels and did AND WON. There was also an AI that was taught how to play DOTA 2 (can't remember if it was also developed by Google) and it competed against professional DOTA 2 players and only lost to 2 or 3 people and even then it only lost by a margin. There's also advanced AI for StarCraft that can compete with professional level players. I don't think Don't Starve requires any more critical thinking skills or macro/micro management than StarCraft or DOTA 2. I would love to see an AI made for Don't Starve with the production value of Google's AI, but hey we're not all billionaires with expendable income.
