Thank you so much for this set of cardiac videos! I am going into my last semester of nursing school and wanted to finish strong, and these videos are helping me do that. I enjoyed how concise they were yet you still added all the pertinent information we need to know.

Why am I here checking EKG charts day after day? I'm not into this trade by any means - I've been ablated for aFib twice though. Well, because it's so interesting and because of this sympathetic and friendly lady - seldom have I been so impressed by a teacher :)

What pacing mode would you put on a pt with bradycardia and AV conduction?
@jmomlive35662 жыл бұрын
I was surprised you didn't mention Tachycardia can also be a symptom of low blood volume, dysautonomia, or other underlining medical conditions. Perscribed medications could include fludrocortisone, midodrine, and sometimes iv fluids could be given.

I received a 2 lead pacemaker coz i have a serious tachy-brady syndrome. lowest hr 29-33bpm and highest 130-190bpm. but what make it worst is that my will kept stopping (pause) for 6-8 secs for 20+ a day. recently i was diagnosed with persistent AFib ranges from 184-207, my PM is keeping it down but it is so energy draining
