What do you need to learn to code anything in any programming language? Is it easy? (nope) Is it possible? (yup)
It does take time and practice though.
Also, sorry if the sound was weird.

Lots of programmers like to have two windows or screens open, one where they code, and one with documentation on the language they are using. If you code, what tricks do you use to make it easier?

Great video. I started (a few years ago) to make games with no prior coding knowledge and even though I use Construct, which means I don't have to write syntax, I still had to learn each of these concepts. These are definitely a great place to start.

Thank you! You saying that makes me feel a little validated for the concepts I expressed in the video. Because you have a pretty great game on the way. Looking forward to playing to final build one day. :)

Awesome video! This will definitely help beginners. I also think it was really creative that you typed out code that pertained to what you were saying.

Thanks, I had no idea I was going to do that till I sat down to edit, I felt like people who already know everything I was talking about, like you, would still enjoy it for the coding bits going on in the background. :)

Artindi you should do a video on all the basic stuff you talked about in here! I love your channel btw man. All of your videos are really informative and inspire me to work more with the engine. I appreciate you taking the time to make them.

Thank you! That means a lot to me. I really want to, so hopefully I will make a video on those basic things, right now it's not on the radar, but one day it will be a thing because I think it might help a lot of people. Thanks again for the great comment. :)

You are 100% right. I started learning GDscript a couple of months ago. I pretty sure that you have mentioned things right. I look forward for the promised tutorials.

hi, in fact I would like to code projects like you but since I hear here and there that we have to stay at the cutting edge of technology, I tell myself that if I start a project that takes me... let's say 03 months, trends will change and I will no longer be up to date. This means that I abandon all projects that exceed 1 week max. So how do you do it?

The C++ syntax is wrong if you put semicolon in same line it wont execute the remaining ones.

I don't know man, I just ran it on a compiler and it seemed to work alright, ether way, I'm no pro at C++ so maybe it was just the compiler I was using.

I would love to, but probably not, if I do any coding tutorials that are not game development related it will probably just be super general stuff that can be applied to any language. Sorry. :/
