Be nice to see a demonstration of it sounding like a recorder! I just want a silent recorder, playable through headphones

It is very nice as a silent recorder - although the air flow could be heard, especially if programmed on « low sensitivity », i.e. for trumpet or oboe players who are used to heavy pressure air flow. The « real recorder » sound is acceptable while sounding like a plastic recorder. The digital recorder sound is good, although some user feel it lacks responsiveness - like some Large bore Renaissance ( Moeck) do. But it can be somewhat corrected as the response is parametrable inside the Artinoise app. Nevertheless I will always sound like a digital instrument, that is it will lack the imperfections and peculiarities of a « real » high quality recorder.

Hi there, I'm a backer, just wondering if there will there be any functionality for the thumbs? Maybe for controlling octave shifts and/or modulation the way my Yamaha wx5 does? Or one of the thumbs could be used as a piano pedal, for sustain/chords. If reprogrammable/assignable, the thumbs could be used for everything from MIDI program changes to starting or stopping recording in a DAW. Just some ideas, looking forward to seeing the project develop.

I understand that this operates as a normal recorder when not using any digital functionality. But when using this as a wind controller to manipulate a MIDI application, is it possible to mute the acoustic sound of the recorder? I suppose we could cover the 'window' opening? I'm very interested in advertising this instrument to people who use my recorder applications. I think it opens up some really interesting possibilities. Congratulations on your KickStarter campaign! I only just discovered you, so I'll have to wait for the retail version to get mine. :-)

Is there a chromatic functuonality? Could not see a demonstration on the video.

No-one answered your question, so I will. The re.corder comes with a mute that you insert in the labium window when playing digitally, so that the only sound you hear is from the midi application.

It really isn't expensive given it's capabilities. Have you looked at the price of other wind controllers for midi?
@Mrzapo783 жыл бұрын
@@adolforodolfo6929 yeah I see the others, but they are superior than this! It is too expensive , in my opinion. Reasonable price it Williams be about100 €

@@Mrzapo78 This video doesn't really give you any idea of the re.corder's capabilities as a midi controller. You could watch these: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKanqZqrm5qXpbc kzbin.info/www/bejne/hobHYWSYaZWLf9k Maybe you will change your valuation, maybe not 😊

@@Mrzapo78So you have a "superior" digital wind instrument, for about 1000 €, by Akai, Yamaha, Roland or similar? As I see it those instruments are aimed chiefly at sax players. Also, they are heavy and uncomfortable! So it's definitely room for a lightweight digital recorder primarily aimed at recorder players! Will also be fun to use in studio settings as a midi controller!
