Thanks for another great video and learning a lot from watching your videos. I like your honest, practical reviews of the products and no more kitchen towels will be seen in my dry brushing sessions :)

In truth, I am limited by cash rather than being able to grab any particular product - as much as I would like to. If I could grab AO or Rosemary etc, I would do.... Been painting off and on since the early 80s, recently returned to the hobby and of course, videos like this are a godsend.

I tried makeup brushes a few years back and was not happy, too many loose hairs would come out while painting and as you said, harder to clean…however they are amazing for dusting minis off! Thanks for this comparison, I am looking forward to the R&C video.

I will still stick with my cheaper brushes because I am not as bothered about high end results. I do respect you made this video and I am looking forward to the Rosemary Co video.

I've used a set of make up brushes from Boots for quite a while. They have an "e" at an angle on the ferrule. They look to be stiffer bristles than the ones you've used, and dont lose hairs like the A set ones. Think they were under £7 for the set three about 3 or 4 uears ago. Also came with a neat, thick plastic tray. I presume there must be differing qualities/stiffness of bristles even amongst the lower priced ones. Pays to look around.

Make-up brushes are a great idea! Great video it's nice to have options depending on your budget. The AO look really nice though.

Interesting to hear about the better control with the AO brushes. I will think about getting the small one as I find that a small drybrush is something I would really like to use but I've found the makeup or army painter masterclass brushes don't behave as I want
