Scott, I am pretty sure your ROR curve has nothing to do with the temperature readings on the left side of Artisan. The ROR follows the numbers on the right side of the chart. Your rate of rise peeked in the 30's. It would never be 350 to 400

OMG. Can you imagine an increase of 350 degrees in one min? That right there should tell you something is very wrong.

Yes. The ROR scale is stated on right hand side (F/min)

Hi, So I work with Liquid Nitrogen and I try to use Artisan for temperatures that go below100 Celsius with my center301 device. My questions is to which machine selection i configurate Artisan? Thank You in advance

I loved your easy-to-understand explanation. Maybe you could answer a question for me. My Artisan screen does not show the phases the way yours does. I like the bar at the top with the percentages of each phase, but I cannot for the life of me, figure out how to get it to display. Is there an easy answer? Is that something that might be a topic for another video? Thanks again!

Phases: Config, Phases, set to the numbers you want displayed for each phase. We only have Watermarks and Phases LCDs check marked on that screen. The %'s are calculated automatically from your phase numbers and only show up when you end the roast with the OFF button. Save your best roasts for each bean so they can be your templates in case something odd happens to future roasts and you need something to compare to. Feel free to contact us with more questions and ideas. Have a great year!

Very good demonstration! the explanation of turning point times is not plausible for me, think,it depends also on the machine. The limits of the green curve (outcoming air) should be spoken of. Thanks!
