A shame I couldn't leave my market stall at Fantasy Fest, I'd loved to come and visit Creaweekend. The craft fairs in NL are a whole other beast than an actual convention. Fantasy Fest was a try out for me too and while I do good at comic cons.. I did not at Fantasy Fest :') My advice is to keep at it!! Hope to see you are a con in the future!

Ohhh hi! Thanks so much for your comment! Craft fairs like the creaweekend truly are not what I thought it would be after watching American craft fairs and stuff, indeed haha! I’m excited for the fantasy fest, it might be slower than comiccons I’m doing later this year but the fee was also very doable haha so it balanced out! I’m sad to hear your experience wasn’t amazing! But indeed keep going! I feel the same way! I hope to see you at a con in the future too! Dank je wel🙃

@@storycrossingstudios No problem! It's best to look to US centric cons as inspiration but do not expect that at. all. XD Especially craft fairs or markets.. nope, those are attended by craft moms who are stingy and live off Action products basically. anime cons and comic cons are more for you. Good luck at the cons, my first one this year is in Leipzig and then Dutch Comic Con!

Ahhh I feel you! This Creaweekend was a craftfair too and in two weeks I’ll be at a con too! Good luck to you! I hope you have so so so much fun! I am nervous too, but also excited! As a violinist I used to learn that nerves before a performance are healthy - and that if you don’t feel nerves you already know you’re failing and there are no stakes! So maybe nerves mean very positive things!!!

I found mine after browsing Amazon a lot haha! It’s one meant for kids and it doesn’t fit any of my products so I have to put little stickers saying “you won: pick 1 sticker” on there! Omg good luck starting your biz! It’s a scary but amazing thing to start! Also - I am still struggling with inventory management myself! I found that I usually bring one sheet or stickers = 6 stickers of each design and about the same amount of each other item. But that can rack up kinda quickly! So maybe think about the products that do well (or you think that’ll do well) and bring more of those? I have had to make more of certain items the evening after the first day of a convention and then had loads left over of other items! It’s an experiment for sure!
