An artist who was born without arms and plays the French horn with his feet has been preparing for a performance at the Proms in London.
Felix Klieser, 32, from Germany, has been performing with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra as its artist-in-residence for the past two seasons.

To me, this is completely normal and in a very positive way, nothing special whatsoever. The reason being that my French teacher in secondary school also had no arms and used to mark our books with his feet and even throw sweets with his feet to pupils who got questions right in class. Naturally, to an 11 year old first former, it was all very eye opening, but my classmates and myself, it all became quickly very normal. I will always be eternally grateful to this teacher as it taught me that a disability is only really so if you let it be and that disabled people are also just normal people and it taught me to interact with them in a normal and ordinary way. Obviously, there are times when they need to be assisted and our French teacher would elicit someone to help carry his food tray at the school canteen and that taught me to offer help respectfully when needed.
