Not really. Glitter sticks for years, so to get it completely off isn't the goal. The goal of cleaning it is to get all the pieces up to make the floor appear clean and not have piles. Just a quick run-over with the vacuum is gonna get almost all of it. She could also do it over a sheet, so she can just dump it off.
