Such great, important and needed work ! Now with Tania Leon, Alvin Singleton, Anthony Davis and others the training is being rewarded And the canon is indeed expanding and being reworked ! My first year in college Mary Richards introduced me to Bonds and others . I was indeed lucky the funny thing is I had been looking at 20th century music and composing in highschool but without the internet in the early 80's had no idea there were symphonies and concerti by black men and women . So appreciative of the work you're doing ! Pine too hasbeen in my focus she too for awhile has played music I was not familiar with .
