As someone who’s worked in artist management within the music industry I feel like the guests could’ve been a bit more descriptive with articulating their explanations & analogy on the topics . The music industry is very complex and upcoming artists are usually unsure of which road to take on their way to becoming an established artist . Using obvious references / examples also helps as opposed to a vague description of the industry . I believe if I was an upcoming artist at the master class I would’ve walked away pretty uncertain of how to get a good management deal . There’s definitely a formula to becoming an established artist - as much as luck and season comes into play at times 80% of the time if you stick to a formula , the artist tends to become what they should inevitably .

The lady from Tailor Made did fairly well though , especially with sharing legal advice for artists . I believe there’s Still a lot of room for Mr T Effect to improve on offering informative & educated advice . Managing an artist as big as AKA is not like managing a small artist and different methods need to be applied into getting a new artist to break into the industry .
