She worked hard to be where she is now, she's gorgeous as heck, she's kindhearted with her members and fans, polite to people she's familiar with, passionate of being an artist and she's very humble. She stable with her vocals, dances really good (mind you the fluidity of her moves just awes me, you'd love to just see her continue on dancing), and on top of that, she always seems genuine. That’s what I really love about Chaer. She always eats up the performances, gives her best and continues to do so. And I'm so glad she became AOTM for August. She deserves everything.

it's always very interesting to see main dancers get the opportunity to showcase their own style and input to these types of things. chaeryeong is phenomenal, you definitely get why she's described as this "light" dancer, her movements aren't necessarily slow but rather smooth, calculated, as if she's defying gravity? it is sooo satisfying to me 😩 also her voice is the icing on top of the cake. i love everything about her! the emotions she wanted to portray leave people speechless. i still get goosebumps watching her AOTM because you feel it each time. I love, love, love everything about this. I love how much direction Chaeryeong got to have over this performance, from the song choice to the underlying emotions to her outfit and nails. I love that we can enjoy everything knowing they're the way "Chaeryeong wanted." We got to see not only her expression of the song through her beautiful dance lines, but also her own interpretation of the lyrics and choreography. I think I'm doing her a disservice by even calling it a "performance." We can really see that she puts herself into each and every song, like she said, and she portrayed the anger, sadness, and fragility so harmoniously. She's not just executing the dance moves or purposefully making certain facial expressions - they're the natural end product of all the hard work she's poured in, and a reflection of her deep understanding of the song. You can see the exact moment she snaps out of the headspace, after the director called "cut," and it's so touching. Thank you Studio Choom for giving Chaeryeong this opportunity! She seized it so well. The camera angles and mood lighting made everything so perfect, and I loved seeing her bond with the choreographer and dancers.
