You missed some of her best songs: Pink convertible, double life, I’m not hungry anymore.. she has more good unreleased, or released as a single than are in her albums. You never touched die life, mermaid vs sailor, or the other demo/self released works. Her last works were at the Magic Stick, which you can search on KZbin. Have fun

hey cool video. She my favourite artist! she's just goes by MARINA now and its mowgli like from from the jungle book 💀 anyway, my favourite froot too. I think that was Marina a at her purest, the songwriting and the production was on point. Although you could argue TFJ was more subversive with the type of production and lyrics and her personality really shined through there. her imagery is immaculate.

Question, how is the writing in adiaml too straight forward? It’s such a unique and deep album where she sings about feminism( man’s world is literally a feminist anthem), the environment, sexism, homophobia, racism, and many other political issues. Her songs in this album are so incredibly meaningful and deep and a true piece of art. Just wondering.

In comparison to Electra Heart, Marina used to always use metaphors to convey a deeper meaning. Like “Mowgli’s Road” or “Oh No!” etc. On ADIAML there wasn’t much metaphors used. That’s not a bad thing at all but there is a difference in the songwriting in general. Still a great album.
