Was looking forward to this. I loved your reaction and appreciation of Taehyung’s voice. The entire vocal line is incredible but from the beginning V’s voice stood out to me when I heard his solo Sweet Night on the soundtrack of a Korean drama. I had no idea who he was and wasn’t into Kpop. I looked him up and found out he was in BTS who I never listened to before. Next thing I knew I fell into the BTS rabbit hole. V’s voice stands out to me because his voice is the deepest and sings in lower range in his songs like Singularity and is so soulful but with his song Stigma he proved he can hit insane high notes. He is known to have the widest vocal range of the group. Also, he is officially the only baritone singer in all of Kpop. His solo songs Singularity and Stigma highlights his incredible range but his harmonization with the other members in BTS shows you how much his lower range adds to the texture of each song when the others sing in midrange and falsetto. The BTS songs wouldn’t be complete without his voice. PLEASE react to his Singularity music video if you haven’t already and see how his style and musical influences is very different from the rest of the group. His live performance of Singularity I guarantee you you will not survive. His voice, and stage presence will blow you away and army in the audience screaming every 5 seconds to every gesture he makes proves how he truly a captivating performer born to do this.
