All due respect to you and Mr. T. But trailblazing a path doesn't necessarily lead anywhere beneficial. Renaissance is a French word meaning rebirth. What we need is a rebirth of discovery of the nature of the world and universe in which we live, emphatically including what it means to be human, as opposed to the deeply pessimistic view that humans are nothing but animals or computers. There is a place for showing how things are, how they have become; that does not suffice to imply or portend a renaissance. Our society has fallen into deep trouble, without a vision of a positive future for mankind and how we may each contribute to it. The renaissance is what lifts society out of such low points.
