The same cartoon introduced me to Iceman when I was 4 years old. Been my favorite comic character since.

I got into comic books through Super Friends (later Super Powers Team for the final season) as it was just the kind of stories I enjoyed at the time and kind of do today. Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends had an Incredible Hulk spinoff and a failed attempt at an X-Men cartoon, all by Sunbow and Marvel Productions. I enjoyed the show. It created Firestar and was a fun show that had good characters. Fun fact: Dan Gilvesan, who played Spidey, also played Bumblebee on Transformers.

Right on, Super Friends brought superheroes to a lot of kids, and that final year had some killer animation!
