I love sushi! I live in Algoma, Wisconsin and I am a hobbyist artist. I love acrylics, watercolor, gouache, and I have tried my first oil painting this week (a still life). I experiment with acrylic inks and all kinds of other mediums (oil pastels, colored pencils, neocolor II, etc.) I do everything with my best friend Janet, and it involves a lot of laughter and we have a fabulous time! I am a seasonal worker (holiday home host, btw you're welcome if you want to visit Italy!) so I'm not able to enjoy Summer nor have time to draw (and I'm sad because early Summer has the best light!). The rest of the time I dedicate a lot of energies on my master's degree (ending in November, I hope) and a lot of other activities I just can't leave. Most of the time I'm out of energy, but being a jack of all trades is one of my traits since I was a kid, so I think I just have to close some important cicles and better manage the new time I'll have to draw again

It’s nothing really special- I use the Sony zve 10 with the Kit lense, wich I think is a good beginner vlogging set up, but I recently bought an ND Filter! I‘m not an expert, but it works like a sunglass for your lense. That way I can mess with my aperture and leave the lense as wide open as I can, to have a bokeh effect, without overexposing my shots. It was an affordable way for me to test out if I wanna up my game and Maybe buy a better cam or lense, cause the nd filter just costed me like 30€ 🤷🏼‍♀️😊 Kinda happy that you pointed it out haha 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

What a fun channel!! I like your forest painting, and I didn't notice any actual "ugly" phases. All I saw were "getting there" phases, where I could basically see where it was going. I follow a certain concert pianist named Annique based in Stuttgart. She helped me settle a bet with my wife on the right way to say "Bach". I think your English is really good, and it sounds effortless. Someone from elsewhere in Europe once told me that the English language was invented by communities of French and German people trying to communicate with one another. If that's true, you're both in one person, so maybe English comes more naturally to you than you realize. Anyway, great video!!

It‘s maybe more the feeling I get when I‘m at that stage of the painting, where I have the feeling that I ruined everything and that I should just stop painting cause I‘m making it worse… It’s kind of an ugly feeling you know? Buuuuut maybe wording it differently could help seeing it differently 🤔 Thanks for the compliment on my english 🙈, I think it was definitely easier for me to learn it, than for others, cause there are a lot of words that are similar to both French and German. I still don’t feel like I‘m quite there yet, but in fact making those KZbin videos helps to practice. Was thinking about taking classes tho in the future 😊

@@anouschkafabre Hahah tu m'étonnes ! Et c'est vrai que ça doit être un challenge en plus quand ta passion est aussi ton métier et que tes créations doivent correspondre aux attentes des clients. Il faut jongler avec tout ça 😵‍💫😂 Après tkt t'as pas à culpabiliser de pas pouvoir tenir ce rythme là toute l'année, la peinture c'est tellement un domaine où des fois il faut se laisser s'inspirer, vivre, s'enrichir d'expériences pour mieux s'exprimer à travers ses œuvres. Et tu as vraiment un univers artistique qui est bien à toi avec une manière de jouer avec les couleurs qui est hyper harmonieuse ! 😊 Et petite question est-ce que tu as déjà fait une exposition de ton travail ? (j'essaye de capter des expériences là dessus pour pouvoir monter la mienne et réfléchir à comment faire connaitre mon travail, je suis pas très réseaux sociaux mais bon je vais devoir m'y mettre je pense 😭)

@@carolinemanet3578 oui c’est sur! Quand j’ai l’impression d’être ne plein „art block“, généralement c’est parce que j’ai passé trop de temps à produire et pas assez à vivre/me laisser inspirer! Alors une expo fait partie de mes plans pour l’année prochaine, j’ai eu une proposition d‘un endroit et d’ici là il va falloir que je produise pas mal de peinture - histoire que ça ait un minimum de gueule hahaha. J’ai passé bcp d’année a dessiner que sur tablette ou ordi et je ne veux pas exposer que des prints 😊

Just so true 😂 I know how hard it can be to make time for art 🙈 Sometimes it helps to just have a sketchbook where you don’t pressure yourself to make „good“ art in it. Beeing creative is not about the result 😊 That helps me a lot. And also Havin a KZbin Channel was very motivating for me, cause you guys keep me accountable in a way! So thx for that 🫶✨

I'm not sure but I think that you're using acrylic paint. If so, you really shouldn't put it down your sink 😮. Maybe wipe it out and throw the towel/cloth into the garbage ❤...just saying 🤷

It’s „acryla gouache“. I whipe away as much as I can to minimise the paint that’s going down the sink, but in the end I scrub the rest with water, would not be able to get everything off otherwise 🤷🏼‍♀️
