@@hamonoverdrive6111 someone hit me up on it about this. Was it Ken, chun, or ryu? Some characters on their STANDING 4frames beat out because of the spacing of smk. Since we’re too far for the smk to activate hit 1, some 4 frames are beating out the 8 frame activation of smk.

Space traps are hard because it dpeends on the character you're facing. Still, its something I'm thinking about. I'm mostly concerned with how do I present and how do I explain that in a universal way...when space traps are kind of a grey area!

This video is so helpful. I've just climbed to platinum, and I'm still having trouble implementing the frame traps into my game (just because sf6 is my first fighting game, and I'm still learning), but I am trying to get these hit confirms and frame traps into my muscle memory in between sets and as a finger warm up. One day I'll get a clutch round with this overhead reset and I can't wait.

Very nice video, the only thing I would change is that is better to throw crouching light punch instead of standing light punch after drive rush, it's +3 so you can frametrap with medium punch, with standing light punch you get a trade, and a counterhit is better due to pushback.

I can see Guile and JP having a hard time vs. an anti-Zoner and then Juri fireball is so quick, slow and low that she doesn’t get countered and prob wins in that MU. Ken will likely be king with Juri and Cammy more close by than ever before SO WE WILL SEE

i knew about the MP->MK, sadly it doesn¿t work on certain characters (ken lol), i recommend ppl to lab where to use LK/MK depending on the matchup. Also, i have to congratz on your video quality, vido/audio and content is really on point

Another banger good stuff Kail. The drive rush over head into 5mk is great trade trap too. And drive rush mp into st hp. Just doesn't work on JP because he's -9 on the trade not -10 but juri stuff like you said /shrug :D

I didn’t even think of that. I’m less likely to do that because of how close we are but that makes sense. As for the JP thing he’s actually -10. I tested it further in the end of the video with a cut in. I figured it out.

@@BigNastyKail The one you figured out was Drive rush delayed 5 HK into 5 MK which is +10 on trade but needs the right spacing for that follow up stand HP to land. I'm talking about Drive rush 5MP (blocked) into 5HP (trade) Vs some characters you get -10 allowing stand HP follow up but vs characters like JP+Manon you gotta 2MK because it's +9 not +10. Thanks for the vids, I'm definitely doing some weak traps

If two moves become active on the same frame you both get hit. If your button was heavier than theirs, you’ll recover sooner. If the move used does heavy hit stun (like smk) then you can attack after you recover.

By the way. If you do the drive rush overhead and then press medium kick on block, you get a trade combo with heavy punch the same way you do on drive rush heavy kick
